What We Do: 

The main role of the Salt Brook PTA is to build strong working relationships between the parents and teachers, in support of the students.  Our goal is to enrich student education and experience, support teachers and staff and enhance parent involvement and communication.  

For just $25 your PTA Membership attaches to two adults and is required to purchase tickets to PTA sponsored events like Sweetheart Dance and Mother/Son Bingo. These fees make it possible for the PTA to fund the free programs for our students (listed below) as well as to contribute to school improvement projects like flexible seating in the classrooms, the library renovation, and installing fans in classrooms without air conditioning.

  • Grade level residencies in each grade that supplements the curriculum and gives students a “hands on” connection to what is being taught in the classroom

  • Spelling Bee

  • Library shelving, circulation desk and rugs

Gifts: 

We've also been able to contribute to the school library in the form of new shelving, rugs and seating as well as a complete renovation of our courtyard to create an outdoor classroom.
