Calling all artists, readers, and book enthusiasts! To celebrate, (Read Across America, School Library Month, Children’s Book Week) Salt Brook Elementary School is having a Bookmark Contest. Design an original bookmark in the space provided on the Bookmark Contest Entry Form and post a picture of it to the Bookmark Contest Padlet by April 30, 2024. All contest entries should be original student artwork and posted to the padlet. No digital artwork or clipart will be accepted. One winning bookmark will be selected at every grade level. With parent or guardian permission, the winning bookmark from each grade level will be reproduced and distributed on the Salt Brook Media Center website. The winner at every grade level will also receive a prize!
Each bookmark must be the original work of one child. No digital artwork or clip art will be accepted.
Each student may only submit one bookmark to the contest.
There will be no sibling or family bookmark entries.
Bookmark art/designs may be either horizontal or vertical.
Use the bookmark space provided on this entry form and be prepared to submit the whole form intact.
Any 2D art medium may be used (crayon, markers, colored pencil, etc.). Please no computer generated images or 3D materials (glitter, glued items, etc.).
Words and numbers may be included in the design, however, please do not put your name anywhere on the bookmark.
Do not use copyrighted characters, art, logos, etc.. Original student artwork and illustrations only!
The contest runs from March 28 to April 30 and is open to all Salt Brook students in K-6.
A winning bookmark will be selected at every grade level. Winners will be notified the week of May 2-8.
With parent/guardian permission, the winning bookmark from each grade level will be reproduced and distributed on the Salt Brook Media Center website. The winner will also receive a prize!
