Registration: Act registration is CLOSED for now. If you would like to register a new act - please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once we've set the roster, you'll receive an email at the address provided to give us some more information about what equipment and space your act will need.
Rehearsals: Your act doesn’t have to be completely polished, we just want to make sure we have everything you need and all the equipment and backstage needs are set. We’ll hold two dress rehearsals for you to run through your act with all the audio/crew you might need. Come to whichever one you can make – you only need to attend one and we don’t have to go in order.
When: Tuesday, Feb. 12th, 3:00 to 5:00 PM and Wednesday, Feb. 13th 3:00 to 5:00 PM Where: Salt Brook Gym
The Big Show: Friday Feb. 22nd in the Salt Brook Gym! Grades 1-3 3:30-5:30 Grades 4-6 7:30-9:30
The rules: We have a few restrictions to make things run smoothly.
Acts must be appropriate for an elementary school audience
Acts should be limited to 2 minutes in length. It’s OK if it’s shorter – but it shouldn’t be longer
Only one act per student – because of show length and to minimize chaos backstage, kids can’t be involved in more than one act
Other opportunities: If you don’t want to participate in an act, but want to get involved – we have other roles for kids at the show. Sign up here to be an MC or in the stage crew.
MCs – We’ll need a few good kids to whip up the crowd and announce our acts. Open to grades 3-6.
Stage Crew – If you’re more behind-the-scenes than center-stage, join our crew (the real showbiz heroes). Open to 5th and 6th grade students only.
