Registration: Registration is open now! Click the button above to register your child as an MC, stage crew member or an act at our 2020 Talent Show!
Once we've set the roster, you'll receive an email at the address you provide at registration with more info.
Act Rehearsals: Your act doesn’t have to be completely polished, we just want to make sure we have everything you need and all the equipment and backstage needs are set. We’ll hold three dress rehearsals for you to run through your act with all the audio/crew you might need. We'll let you know which rehearsal you should attend – you only need to attend one and we don’t have to go in order.
When: Monday Feb. 10th, Tuesday Feb. 11th and Wednesday Feb. 12th, 3:00 to 5:00 PM Where: Salt Brook Gym
Crew Rehearsals: The show can't happen without our amazing stage crew! Kids in the crew are welcome to come to all of the act rehearsals (or whichever ones they can attend). They'll be able to familiarize themselves with the equipment, props and curtain so they're ready for the big night. When: Monday Feb. 10th, Tuesday Feb. 11th and Wednesday Feb. 12th, 3:00 to 5:00 PM Where: Salt Brook Gym
MC Rehearsal: Once we have all our acts figured out and we've written the MC scripts, we'll have the MC's come in to rehearse their introductions on the stage with the sound system.
When: Wednesday Feb. 19th, 3:00 to 5:00 PM Where: Salt Brook Gym
The Big Show: Friday Feb. 21st in the Salt Brook Gym! Grades 1-3 3:30-5:30 Grades 4-6 7:30-9:30
The rules: We have a few restrictions to make things run smoothly.
Acts must be appropriate for an elementary school audience
Acts should be limited to 2 minutes in length. It’s OK if it’s shorter – but it shouldn’t be longer
Only one act per student – because of show length and to minimize chaos backstage, kids can’t be involved in more than one act
Parent Volunteers: We're ALWAYS looking for help from parents. We can't put on the show without parental involvement. Check back here for a link to our parent volunteer sign up genius or email email@example.com if you can help out. Thanks!
