Library Media Bonanza!!
Thursday, February 28th, 2019
Ready, set, mark your calendars!
Who: All Salt Brook students grades K-6 and their families
When: Thursday, February 28, 2018
1st session: 6:30-7:15, check-in at 6:15
2nd session: 6:30-8:15.
Where: Salt Brook School Media Center/various classrooms.
We hope that you will be able to take part in this event sponsored by the Salt Brook staff and experience first hand the pride we take in our school and students!
The evening will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. so plan to arrive at 6:15 p.m. for check-in. Fun library-media related sessions will be facilitated by Salt Brook teachers and staff. While each session will be open to a limited number of participants, there will be enough variety for all to partake. In an effort to try to accommodate all participants, each activity will offer two sessions. The first session will take place from 6:30-7:15, and the second session will take place from 7:30-8:15 p.m.. The evening event will conclude at the end of the second session.
Parents are expected to accompany their child to each session and engage with them in the activities. The sessions offered will highlight Media Center resources as well as book and/or media inspired activities. Together, teachers, staff, students, and families will have an opportunity to share in Salt Brook’s love of learning! Without a doubt, it will be a night you won’t want to miss!
Through your continued commitment to Salt Brook School, our students and school continue to flourish. Last year as a result of the community's generosity, the school was able to complete the library renovation project. It has had an impressive impact on all, creating an engaging stage for learning! Still, with your support and donations at the Library Media Bonanza event, we as a community are sure to continue to make a difference in our Media Center. So come out and enjoy the evening. All proceeds will benefit the library and help us to further fulfill our vision of a vibrant 21st century Media Center.
Thank you for your dedication to our school!
Sincerely, Mrs. Demich Library Media Specialist
