Ready, set, mark your calendars! Join us Thursday, March 2, 2023 as Salt Brook Elementary School celebrates the Library Media Bonanza. All students in grades K-6 and their families are invited to come out for this fun-filled, in-person family night.
Fun library-media related sessions will be facilitated by Salt Brook teachers, staff, and students throughout the evening. While each session will be open to a limited number of participants, there will be enough variety for all to partake. We are also excited to share that local author Nadja Springer will join us for the Bonanza this school year. In an effort to try to accommodate all participants, most activities will offer two sessions. The first session activities will take place from 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM, and the second session activities will take place from 6:45 PM - 7:15 PM. Some sessions will be open the entire evening and welcome drop-in visits throughout the night. The evening event will conclude at 7:15 p.m., the end of the second session.
Parents are expected to accompany their child to each session and engage with them in the activities. The sessions offered will highlight Media Center resources as well as book and/or media inspired activities. Together, teachers, staff, students, and families will have an opportunity to share in Salt Brook’s love of learning! Without a doubt, it will be a night you won’t want to miss!
