Reflect on the true meaning of the season and spread some holiday cheer to senior citizens in New Providence!  The Salt Brook PTA will be collecting holiday cards for distribution to seniors in New Providence's assisted living and eldercare facilities.

Last Day to Drop:  Friday, December 18th

suggestions for your card

  • Greeting: "Dear Friend" or "Dear Senior."
  • Introduce yourself, but leave out last names.
  • You can write about your family and your holiday traditions.
  • You can write about your favorite subject, book, sport or activity.
  • You can remind the seniors to enjoy the holidays and let them know that they are not alone.
  • You can include a bright, colorful illustration. 
  • Keep it brief and sweet.
  • Make sure the writing is legible! 
  • Seniors have an easier time reading larger print on light backgrounds!
  • Get creative and have fun!
