We are pleased to invite you and your children to the annual Salt Brook PTA Book Fair supplied by Scholastic. A wide selection of the best quality and most current children’s books will be available. The 2018 Book Fair will be held in the school lobby on:
A Book Fair Flyer will come home with your child in late October. Items in this flyer are guaranteed for special order and delivery at or after the fair. All other items at the Book Fair (not on the flyer) will be first come first serve. If we run out, they may be purchased through our online book fair site as long as supplies last.
Books may be purchased online from 11/7 - 11/20.
Your child will attend the Book Fair twice with his/her class over a three day period.
On the first visit, volunteers will help students choose age appropriate books. Your child will fill out a "wish list" to bring home to share any great books he / she would like to tell you about. If your child has looked at the flyer and knows what books they would like to purchase, they may do so on the first visit. On the second visit, please send your child in with money for the books they would like to purchase as well as the "wish list" if there are specific books you have approved.
Teacher’s Wish Lists will be available, and books can be purchased to donate to your child’s teacher. This is a great opportunity to support teachers in building rich classroom libraries to benefit all of our children for years to come.
A successful book fair not only encourages our children to read, but raises important funds for PTA sponsored projects and earns free books for our school! Salt Brook earns a portion of retail sales, so please consider supporting this worthy fundraiser.
