Thanks to all the kids and parents who made our first Walk (and Bike) to School day last week such a great success.  We had so many walkers and bikers, we ran out of stickers!  It was great to see everyone saving the environment AND getting exercise at the same time.  

Be sure to keep up the effort for our next Walk/Bike to School day on October 26th.  If you or your child would like to do more, you could walk everyday, one day a week or find a carpool to cut down on the number of cars.   We're also looking for a Walk to School committee chair to organize our efforts and hopefully bring Salt Brook to Gold status with the Safe Routes to School organization.  Click here to let us know if you're interested.
